Burned by a hot mic

The Rev. Jesse Jackson has now issued an apology for remarks he made about Barack Obama which were unknowingly picked up by his microphone before a Fox News interview this past Sunday.

Said the Rev.:

“I have great passion for this campaign and traveled across the country … arguing the case for the campaign,” Jackson said. “And this thing I said in a hot-mic statement that’s interpreted as a distraction, I offer apology for that. I don’t want harm or hurt to come to this campaign.”

For those who haven’t yet seen the footage of Jackson’s comments, here is the video:

What makes this clip all the funnier is watching Dr. Reed Tuckson smile politely and squirm in his seat as if to say “I think you might want to shut up now, Jesse….”

Bobbit blunder aside, Jackson is also wrong in his main assertion — Obama talks down to people of ALL races.
